3Doodler Announces Retail Plans
(3Ders.org) 3Doodler, the $99 handheld 3D printer, has announced worldwide plans to go into retail outlets in 2014 as well as launching a range of accessories. 3Doodler will be available across the US at Brookstone’s retail stores, as well as online with website ThinkGeek, Maker Shed and the MoMA Store, 3Doodler’s official launch partner for design. 3Doodler will also be launching six different changeable nozzles, allowing users to extrude plastic in different shapes and sizes. The 3Doodler, which debuted last year following a massive crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter, has almost finished shipping Kickstarter backers their 3D-printing pen.
