Solar Powered, 3D Printed Boombox
(instructibles) Rob Martin at Illinois State University conceptualized a 3D printed boombox with a solar panel. Maker bobert610 built a prototype powerful enough to charge a 6,600 mA battery that will run the simple amplifier for 12 hours of music at full volume. Each speaker is relatively small, so you might think that this device lacks punch, but for being so small, it packs quite good power and acoustics together in one, sustainable project.
